Hi, this is Yiwen Zhao | 赵艺雯

Welcome to My Portfolio

I'm an incoming PhD student at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, co-advised by Prof. Zhongyu Li and Prof. Xue Bin (Jason) Peng. Prior to that, I was a master's student at CMU RI, where I worked with Prof. Shinji Watanabe, Prof. László A. Jeni, and collaborate with Prof. Zhongyu Li.

My research interests lie in human-centric topics, including multimodal generative models, digital humans, and humanoid robots. I hope it can benefit people in a way that is useful and fun.

Some beliefs:
  • Multimodal signals have a natural alignment and complementarity with each other. They make our lives as human beings vibrant and fascinating.
  • Grounding these ideas in the same physical world as us humans matters. It means to deeply interact with people, and to continuously learn from the environment.

Misc: I love figure skating, a beautiful fusion of highly dynamic, precise motion and rich multimodal signals. I also love Winnie the Pooh, the kindest little bear in the world, who has been my best buddy since I was two.
